Welcome to first grade! I am so excited about what this year has in store for us as we embark on this journey together! This will be my third year teaching 1st grade at Borchardt Elementary and I feel truly blessed to be a part of such a wonderful school! I graduated from Texas A&M University in December of 2009 with my Bachelors of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and certifications in Early Childhood-4th grade and English as a Second Language. Before coming to first grade, I worked with the fabulous kindergarten team as a student teacher here at Borchardt.
When I am not at school I enjoy relaxing at home with my husband, Josh, and our mischievous puppy, Owen. I also enjoy decorating, getting lost in a good book, spending time with friends and family, traveling and trying new things.
My true passion is teaching and I am so excited for what this school year has in store for us. First grade is such an amazing year of growth and it is both a privilege and honor to be a part of it. We have a fabulous year ahead of us and together we can build a wonderful learning environment for your child.
